Amiens became my home. I learned the buses routes, I learned where to buy groceries, clothes, etc, and the places in town; to the point that I was able to give an address if someone asked for it. I practiced French every single day and I loved it. The best part of this trip was making friends. <3
Every evening, the 5 of us, plus our new friends hung out at My Goodness, an Irish pub; and of course while we were there, we made even more friends. I didn't go to My Goodness as much as some of my friends did, but I still went many times. The music was great, the company was amazing and they made the most amazing strawberry daiquiri!!!!!
We became friends with the My Goodness crew. They were super sweet with us. I'll never forget the awesome nights that we spent there.

Amiens se convirtió en mi hogar. Aprendí las rutas de los buses, aprendí adonde comprar la comida, ropa y demás. Hasta me aprendí los lugares de la ciudad a tal punto de que cuando alguien me preguntaba una dirección yo la sabía dar :). Practiqué montones el francés y lo disfruté tanto. La mejor parte de este viaje fue hacer nuevos amigos. <3
Todas las noches, los 5, más nuestros nuevos amigos, íbamos a My Goodness, un pub irlandés; y por supuesto mientras estábamos ahí, hacíamos más amigos. Yo no fui a My Goodness tantas veces como algunos de mis otros amigos, pero igual fui muchas veces. La música siempre era buena, la compañía era la mejor, y ahí hacían el mejor daiquiri de fresa del mundo!!!!!!
Nos hicimos amigos con los que trabajaban en My Goodness. Fueron súper dulces con nosotros. Nunca se me van a olvidar las noches que pasamos ahí.
